For Knitting: Know how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease
For All: Have a basic understanding of patterns, schematics, and terminology, along with a basic understanding of simple math
Supplies Students Must Bring

Any yarn of your choice; Hook/needle size appropriate for the yarn; Any stitch pattern of your choice; Removable stitch markers; Tape measure; Scissors; Tapestry needle; Paper, pencil, and calculator
