Do you look at entrelac and think “I could never do that! It’s too complicated.” Although entrelac looks perplexing at times, it’s actually quite simple once you know the basics. This class introduces knitters to the technique of entrelac knitting and makes it easy and fun! Students will work a sample swatch to learn how to create the building blocks of entrelac: base triangles, left leaning and right leaning rectangles, and side and ending triangles. Students will leave class with the information and skills needed to embark on their own entrelac adventure! Students must know how to knit, purl, and be familiar with basic increases and decreases. 

In this workshop, you'll: 

• Learn to read and understand entrelac patterns and charts 
• Learn to make base triangles, left and right leaning rectangles, and ending triangles.  
• Learn basic construction and hints for creating successful entrelac.  
• Work a sample entrelac swatch
